The Saigon Children’s Charity Vocational Training School supports 425 disadvantaged children aged 12 – 18 years in District 4, one of the poorest districts in Ho Chi Min City. The school provides free vocational training skills such as English, Computer Training and Hairdressing as well as classes in Art & Photography. Began in 1999, the photography course is popular with the students and their works have been exhibited in London, Munich, Hong Kong, Lucerne and Melbourne, and held a very successful exhibition in Singapore in 2006.
Proceeds from the sale of the photographs will be donated to the young photographers from the Saigon Children’s Charity Vocational Training School and the beneficiaries of the Business Times Budding Artists Fund.
