The objective of this event is to help parents to open lines of honest communication with their children not only about their use of Information & Communication Technology but also about their behavior when online. More importantly, it is to provide parents with the right mindset as well as skill set that will enable them to guide and empower their children to act responsibly and wisely when using the internet.
Be Cyber-Savvy – Keeping current with technology with your children goes a lomg way towards keeping your child safe online.
Be Connected - Keep communicating with your children about everything they experience on the Internet. You can also learn of the different social online activities available that can help you and your family communicate and bond better.
Be Conscious - Learn where your kids go online. Find out what are the preventive measure you can adopt to keep your family safe from the dangers of the internet.
