2016

    THEATRE
    Children- beneficiaries awarded 4 Grade 3 Speech and Drama with Merit for the Trinity College Examinations

  • Children – beneficiaries participated in Children Exchange at the ChildAid Japan
  • Commissioned works for Citibank Mural which was featured in the Singapore Book of Records
  • Commissioned works for Citibank Calendar and Hong Bao
  • Commissioned works for BNP Paribas Mural painting at the Sports Museum

    MUSIC

  • Children- 2 beneficiaries invited to perform at the National Gallery Singapore for the Singapore Rhapsodies

    DANCE

  • Sugar Rush Crew performed at the Tan Chin Tuan “More than Words” concert.
  • Sugar Rush Crew supported by BNP Paribas “Dream Up Project” performed for Vietnam’s 1st ASEAN children’s Festival.
  • Sugar Rush Crew won consolation prize at the Republic Polytechnic’s Dance Festival, Rpresenting to Da Fullest 9- Hip Hop Competition.
  • Both Sugar Rush and Stylo Mylo dance groups performed at the BNP Paribas Family Day event
  • Stylo Mylo Dance group performed at the opening of the Singapore Maritime Week
  • Collaboration between children and youth division at the Citi golf tournament

    BALLET

  • 4 Ballet students were selected to perform at the Asian’s Festival for Children’s Content
  • 4 students awarded with Grade 1 Distinction RAD Examinations
  • 7 Students awarded with Grade 1 Merit RAD Examinations

2015

  • Children- beneficiaries awarded 2 Merits & 4 Passes for the Trinity College London Music examinations (Guitar)
  • Children- beneficiaries awarded 6 Passes, 2 Merits and 1 Distinction for the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music keyboard examinations
  • Children- beneficiaries awarded 9 Passes and 2 Merits for the Trinity College London Music examinations (Keyboard Practical)
  • Children- beneficiaries awarded 6 Distinctions and 3 Merits for the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art

  • Children-beneficiaries performed at The Business Times Dream Ball held at Marina Bay Sands Ballroom.
  • Youth-beneficiaries performed at ChildAid Asia KL.
  • Children-beneficiaries performed at A night at Voyage – A princely Ball around the world, in front of Prince Albert of Monaco.
  • Children-beneficiaries held their If Only It Exists visual arts exhibition held at 10 Square @ Orchard Central.
  • Children-beneficiaries performed at ChildAid Singapore.
  • Youth-beneficiaries performed at Associat10n during the launch of 10 Square @ Orchard Central.
  • Performances and commissioned performances, which includes, Tan Chin Tuan Foundation’s ‘More Than Words’ concert, ‘Be Inspired’ Marina Bay Sands 2015 Calendar, Maya Dance Integrated Mural Artwork, Singapore International Foundation’s Diversecity and more.

2013

  • Children-beneficiaries awarded 7 distinctions, 9 merits for the Royal Academy of Dance ballet examinations.
  • Children-beneficiaries awarded 2 distinctions, 9 merits and 3 passes for the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music keyboard examinations.
  • Children-beneficiaries held their Retrospection visual arts exhibition at the Goodman Arts Centre’s Gallery.
  • Natalie Chew, Grade 6 ballerina, awarded with the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing summer scholarship.
  • Youth-beneficiaries performed at ChildAid Asia Tokyo, ChildAid Asia KL and ChildAid Singapore.
  • Youth-beneficiaries attended theatre exchange programme in Sydney with the Australian Theatre for Young People.
  • Performances and commissioned performances, which includes, Singapore International Foundation’s Partner Appreciation Dinner, President’s Volunteer and Philanthropy Awards, Singapore Heart Foundation’s launched of National Heart Week and more.

2012

  • BT BAF extended funding for youths aged 13 to 19.
  • J.P. Morgan joined as Programme Partner for Youth Division @ LAA.
  • BNP Paribas joined as Outreach Partner for Children Division @ LAA.
  • 73 youths began their arts training.
  • Children-beneficiaries awarded 5 distinctions, 4 merits for the Royal Academy of Dance ballet examinations.
  • Nurin Syahmina Sani, Grade 5 ballerina, awarded with the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (CSTD) summer scholarship.
  • Theatre youth-beneficiaries staged second production, commissioned by Gardens By The Bay, Lights Out Wonderland.
  • Dance youth-beneficiaries performed for ChildAid Singapore.
  • Performances and commissioned performances, which includes, The Esplanade’s Octoburst! Festival, Overseas Union Enterprise Limited’s charity event, Keppel Reit lunchtime gigs at Ocean Financial Centre and more.

2011

  • Children-beneficiaries awarded 3 distinctions, 3 merits for the Royal Academy of Dance ballet examinations.
  • Children-beneficiaries awarded 3 distinctions for the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts acting-monologue examinations.
  • Yeo Jing Ying auditioned and was accepted into School of the Arts (SOTA).
  • Choir group, Happy Mondays, performed at the inaugural ChildAid Asia Tokyo.

2010

  • 3 distinctions in the Royal Academy of Dance ballet examinations.
  • Children-beneficiaries in the visual arts class showcased their first exhibition, Engima, at The Arts House’s Gallery.
  • Ballerinas performed at the inaugural Singapore Youth Olympic Games.

2009

  • Siobhan Yeow Ying Hong, a beneficiary from the visual arts class, received the Highly Commended Award (Junior Category) at the UOB Painting of the Year Award 2009.
  • Young new talent, Mohd Mazwan, was specially mentioned by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong as an example of how the community can come together to play a part to help those in need.
